Being in the moment: here's an opportunity to contemplate a winter phenomenon in all it's aspects. In unique conditions, icicles straddle the frontiers between liquid and solid. Growing as water flows down the sides and freezes another layer on the ice. Gravity drawing the water down until a drop slips from the tip in free fall to rejoin the earth. The gases trapped inside as the ice expands, the light passing through effortlessly. The bending of the forrest into new warped dimensions. A lovely set of circumstances to contemplate: solid yet transparent, trapped yet fleeting, Goodbye's and reunions, beautiful yet temporary. You have it all .
